Located in the oceanfront Long Bay Resort in Myrtle Beach, Martin’s Restaurant serves an eclectic array of European inspired cuisine in a fine dining atmosphere. Martin’s Restaurant has been creating a unique dining experience for both tourists and locals alike since 1994.

To truly understand Martin’s, you must get to know a brief history of the man at the heart of Martin’s Restaurant. Martin Dobr was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia and has quite an extensive resume of working and traveling around the world. His chef skills have carried him from Austria, Canada and Hawaii to Los Angeles and Alaska, before relocating him to the East Coast. He has been in the restaurant industry for over 40 years and has opened restaurants in Greenville, Charlotte, and Little River before settling down with Martin’s Restaurant in Long Bay Resort. Martin has prepared meals for celebrities and is a member of Chaine des Rotisseurs, the oldest and largest food and wine society in the world.

Martin’s passion for creating exquisite meals and a unique dining experience is evident from the menu to the atmosphere in the restaurant. Martin’s eclectic menu has a European flair and influences from his world travels. The restaurant serves both breakfast and dinner. During breakfast you’ll find an assortment of platters as well as a grand buffet. The buffet is full of savory and sweet items including everything from scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and sausage gravy, to French Toast, baked treats, and pancakes. There is an omelet station included so you can custom order your omelet to be loaded up with whatever toppings you choose! There’s an Early Bird Menu that’s a smaller adaptation of the dinner menu with nine entrees to select from.

The dinner menu contains a wide variety of specialties from land and sea. You’ll find dishes such as Frog Legs, Escargot Crostini, Fresh Salads, Pasta, Wienerschnitzel, Veal, Roasted Duckling, Chicken Francese, Scallops Denia and Garlic Steak. They also have an extensive wine list, so make sure to request a pairing from your server. One of the unique features of dining at Martin’s Restaurant for dinner is their table side service. You’ll be amazed as a Caesar Salad is tossed right in front of your eyes and dessert becomes a show as flames fly from the Banana Foster!

Martin’s is perfect for a romantic date night, dinner with the whole family or a reunion of friends. Whether you’re staying at the Long Bay Resort or a Myrtle Beach local, make sure to check out Martin’s Restaurant for a unique fine dining experience the whole family will enjoy!
