Whether you’re a regular at Martin’s Restaurant in Myrtle Beach or dining for your first time, their large menu full of delicious food can be a little overwhelming. There is so much to choose from including seafood, steak and even veal. If you’re torn about what to order, here’s some advice from Martin, the owner, on his “Top 5” suggestions on what to order.
You don’t have to take a trip abroad for this Austrian specialty. Martin spent some time in Austria and we are known for our European cuisine. , this Wienerschnitzel is one of the best along the Grand Strand (it’s event noted as the ‘Best in 1000 miles’ on our menu). It’s traditionally serves as a thinly sliced veal, hand breaded and fried to perfection. But can also be prepared in any of the following ways: Holstein Style with a sunny side up egg and anchovies, Yager Style with mushroom sauce, or Milanese Style with homemade marinara. The dish is served with pan fried potatoes and red cabbage.
- Chicken Parmigiana
Take your tastebuds to Italy with this classic Italian-American dish. It’s one of Martin’s favorites because not only how delicious it is – but also because it’s such a popular dish. We handbread our chicken breast and top it with homemade marinara sauce, sprinkle it with cheese and bake it in the oven. It’s served over a bed of angel hair pasta with homemade marinara sauce.
- Grouper Neptune
We may be most known for our European cuisine but Martin knows how to put a twist on fresh seafood. Craving something from the sea? Try our Grouper Neptune. For this unique dish we take our fresh grouper and dip it in flour and egg before sauteing it. Then we top it with grilled shrimp, asparagus and a creamy bearnaise sauce. It’s served with a baked potato.
- Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail
Found in the appetizer section, our Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail is perfect for one, or for a couple to share. You’ll be served 5 Jumbo Shrimp that have been cooked, chilled and peeled to order with cocktail sauce. This is perfect to order if you’re searching for a small plate to pair with a salad or soup, or as an appetizer if you were craving chicken and seafood.
- Creme Brulee
Who doesn’t love to end a hearty meal with something sweet and decadent! One of Martin’s favorite desserts is Creme Brulee. Our rich creamy custard is topped a crystalized layer of sugar. Plus when we bring it out to your table, we caramelize the sugar right in front of your eyes with a blow torch! It’s like dessert and a show!
