30 Aug Wine & Dine at Martin’s Restaurant in Myrtle Beach
Martin’s Restaurant in Myrtle Beach aims to provide our guests with a unique dining experience every time they visit. Located in the lobby of the oceanfront Long Bay Resort, we create a variety of delicious dishes for breakfast and dinner. Recently we’ve introduced two new menus to our restaurant. One is our dinner menu that includes a mix of new items and crowd favorites, and the other is a wine list.
A glass of wine can enhance a dish and our new wine menu is a collection of reds and whites that are sure to please your palate. If you’re sipping wine with a special someone or ordering for the table, you’ll enjoy choosing from our selection of wines served by the bottle. For those that only want a drink or two, we offer a variety of house wines that are poured by the glass including Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, White Zinfandel, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. As we introduce our wine selection on this new menu, we’ll share what dishes from our new menu they compliment.
Celebrating a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary? Or maybe you’re just cheers-ing to the fact that it’s Wednesday and you made it halfway through the week. In any case, our bubbly Villa Sandi Prosecco from Italy is the spirit for you. This bubbly cocktail is both fruity and floral and naturally pairs with a dessert, such as our decadent White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake. It also compliments our French Onion Au Gratin appetizer. Our Sterling Pinot Grigio from California goes nicely with our fresh Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail appetizer. The citrus tones of the Bonterra Sauvignon Blanc from California pairs perfectly with our famous Wienerschnitzel and our tasty Shrimp Scampi. If you’re planning on ordering the hearty Baked Potato Soup or Herb Marinated Chicken Breast, try a dry, medium- to full-bodied Chardonnay like the Harken Chardonnay or the Sonoma-Cutter Russian River Ranches Chardonnay – both from California. The crispy and fruity tones of our Frisk Riesling from the Gold Coast of Australia pairs well with our Fresh Atlantic Salmon. And for those that always save room for dessert, our homemade Apple Pie A La Mode is even tastier when you’re sipping a glass of the Seven Daughters Moscato from Italy.
Transitioning to the red wine section of the menu, our first wines on the list are both complex and have a rich full character. Our Murphy Goode Pinot Noir and La Crema Pinot Noir, both from California, pair tastefully with our Filet Mignon and Fresh Atlantic Salmon. Merlot is smack dab in the middle of the wine spectrum and goes well with our Herb Roasted Chicken. If you’re ordering the Chicken Wings or Tim’s Chili with Chips for an appetizer, try the Edmeades Zinfandel from California. Gabbiano Chianti from Italy is your go-to if you’re mouth is watering for our Chicken Parmigiana. In the mood for a juicy burger or nice cut of steak? We have quite the selection of Cabernet Sauvignons to choose from. We offer Silver Palm Cabernet Sauvignon, Chateau St. Jean Cabernet Sauvignon, and Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon – all from California. For our Surf & Turf pairing, there really isn’t a perfect match – but we recommend either a bottle of Chardonnay or Cabernet Sauvignon.
The best conversations happen over the dinner table, so why not have them at Martin’s Restaurant in Myrtle Beach … and enhance them with a bottle of wine from our new wine menu!
